To commence using Intuit QuickBooks Payments, Create an account in QuickBooks with the preferred payment plan starting at $15/month. Integrate Magento 2 store with the payment gateway using the API key details received during the registration. The gateway offers various Pricing Plans.

  • Option to check the payment details from the "Sales Order View" Section in the backend. 
  • The admin can use the Intuit QuickBooks Payment Gateway for backend orders in Magento 2. 

Note: The extension works with the latest OAuth 2.0 API.

 

How Does The Extension Work?

The admin can enable the extension to integrate the QuickBooks payment gateway with Magento 2 store. The admin can set a custom title, choose to show or hide the payment gateway logo, and enable the sandbox mode if required. The admin can enter the Client ID, and Client Secret received while registering. The admin can select the payment action, choose the allowed countries to use the payment method, and enable the debug mode if required. The admin can also set the custom instructions, minimum and maximum order total, and sort the order of the payment method. 

After successful login, a connection success message appears after refreshing the configuration page. Here, the connection status is updated to "Connected" after the API connection.

The customers can choose the QuickBooks payment method and place the order after entering the card details on the front end.

The customers can check the payment details from their "My Account" section.

The admin can check the payment details from the "Sales Order View" in the backend. 

The admin can create orders from the backend using the QuickBooks payment method. He can select the QuickBooks payment method, enter the payment details and submit the order.

 

Security and PCI Compliance:

Once the customers add products to their cart and proceed to pay using QuickBooks Payments, they are asked to add card details on-site and complete the payment. The customers' card details are stored on your website server using encryption to ensure secure payments. Merchants are required to be PCI Data Security Standard compliant before using the QuickBooks payment gateway. The whole process uses tokenization to communicate card data with the payment gateway, it assures card data and payment security. The integration of the payment gateway with the Magento 2 store meets the SAQ A-EP level of PCI compliance.
