Back to topAre you missing out on potential orders in your store due to 'out of stock' products? Do you want to offer pre-order functionality to allow the customers to book their orders before the product launch? We have developed a Pre Order for Magento 2 extension for that!
Our pre order extension for Magento 2 facilitates the admin to accept pre-orders before the product is even launched. Gauge the market demand and create a solid product debut by allowing the customers to make pre-orders in your store.
Another interesting functionality of this extension that you'll surely love is the 'Accepting Backorders'. The extension lets the customers place backorders for the products that are out of stock in the store. This will help you save the sales that you may have probably lost for the unavailable products.
Whatsmore interesting is the extension's functionalities that allow customizing the 'Add to Cart' button for the pre-order products and the pre-order note, which is shown on the product and category page.
Features:
- The admin can enable the extension from the backend.
- The admin can choose to allow pre-orders for products with a quantity of 0 or less.
- The admin can enable or disable pre-orders for items with a quantity above 0.
- The admin can customize the custom message that is shown in the cart for the pre-orders having a quantity more than the available quantity in the store.
- The admin can customize the pre-order note that is displayed on the category and product pages.
- The admin can choose the selector to display the pre-order note.
- The admin can customize product-specific pre-order button labels.
- Once the extension is enabled and configured, the pre-order products are displayed on the front end.
- Once a pre-order is placed for an item, pre-order details are displayed in the customers' my account section.
- The admin can find the pre order details in the backend sales grid.
- The extension also restricts the admin to generate shipments for the pre-orders by displaying an error.
- Option to display pre-order item details in the order confirmation email to customers.
How Does the Extension Work?
The admin needs to enable the extension, enable the pre-order for products with a quantity of 0 or less and disable pre-orders for items with a quantity above 0 as per their convenience and can customize the warning message for the pre-order quantity limit in the shopping cart.
The admin needs to enter text to replace the 'add to cart' button text, can set a pre-order note and its position to show on all the pre-order enabled products, and display it on category pages. There is also an option to customize the pre-order button label for different products, and the pre-order notes to display on the product page.
Once the extension is configured and enabled, the customers can find the pre-order option for the products that are not currently available. After placing a backorder, the customers can find the pre-order details in their 'My account' section. The store admin can also find the preorder details in the backend grid.
The extension also restricts the admin to generate shipments for the pre-orders and backorders by showing an error. The admin can show pre-order item details in an order confirmation email to customers.
