To commence using the Orange Money Web Payment extension, you need to apply for Orange Money account and enter the details in Magento 2 store configuration section for the API integration. To see the Pricing Plans, you need to contact the Orange Money team.

How Does The Extension Work?

In the backend, the admin needs to enable the extension, enter a custom title, and choose to show/hide the payment gateway logo. The admin can also enable the sandbox mode to test the payment gateway. The admin needs to enter the API details such as merchant key, authorization header, token URL & transaction status URL to connect the Orange Money Payment Gateway with Magento 2. The admin can also select specific countries to allow using the payment gateway for the customers, enable the debug mode, and show additional information on the frontend.

Once the extension is configured and the customer chooses to pay using the Orange Money Payment Gateway, they are redirected to a payment page hosted by the gateway. On the payment page, they need to enter their mobile number and authorization code to complete the payment. On successful payment, the customers are redirected back to the merchant's site, where they can find the complete payment details in the My Orders section.

The admin can also find the payment details of the orders paid using Orange Money Web Payments in Magento 2 in the Sales > Orders backend grid.

Using the Orange Money Web Payment for Magento 2, whenever customers add products to the cart and proceed to checkout, they get redirected to the hosted payment gateway page to enter payment details and complete the payment.
