Account & Pricing
To use Merchant Warrior Payment Gateway extension, you need to register and enter the details in Magento 2 store configuration section for the API integration. The pricing of the payment gateway for credit/debit card transactions is 0.5 to ~1.5% + $0.30 per transaction, which may vary depending on industry and processing volume.

- The admin can configure the extension with Merchant Warrior by entering the Merchant UUID, API Key, and API Passphrase.
- The admin can select the default order statuses of the orders paid using Merchant Warrior PayFrame Payment from:
- Processing
- Suspected Fraud
- Option for debug mode for the developers.
- The admin can enter custom instructions to show to the customers.
- Option to set the minimum and maximum order total to allow the customers to use Merchant Warrior PayFrame.
- The admin can also allow the customers from only selected countries to use the payment gateway.
How Does the Extension Work?
To integrate Merchant Warrior PayFrame with Magento 2, the admin needs to enable the extension from the backend, enter the custom title, choose to show or hide the logo in the frontend, choose the payment action, enable the sandbox mode (if required), enter the merchant UUID, API Key, and API Passphrase.
Set the new order status, enable debug mode, set custom instructions, set minimum & maximum order total to allow the customers to use the payment gateway, and set the sort order of the payment gateway.
The admin can also select the applicable countries to allow customers from only those countries to use the Merchant Warrior PayFrame method.
Once the payment method is configured, the customers will get an option to pay using the Merchant Warrior PayFrame while checking out. The customer just needs to select the Merchant Warrior, enter the billing & shipping addresses, credit/debit card details in the secure iFrame, and click on place order to proceed with the payment.
After the payment is completed securely in the iFrame, customers can easily check the status of the same from the backend in the "My Orders" section. The "Order View" section in the backend also provides information regarding the payment in the backend to the admin. The admin can also refund the payments from the backend.
Security and PCI Compliance:
The extension uses the custom UI method of Payment JS to embed Merchant Warrior fields into their checkout form for capturing the payments. This allows the server to request a Javascript form from Merchant Warrior and embed it into the merchant’s checkout page. This method requires merchants to validate their PCI Compliance using SAQ A. Using this method, no customer data is entered or stored in the Magento 2 store but only on the Merchant Warrior's server.
All payment card information will be filled into an iFrame payment form supplied by Merchant Warrior. Customers’ card info will be stored and processed by Merchant Warrior, and Merchant Warrior will send back a token to the merchant’s server upon completion. This means merchants won’t have to worry about this process.
This integration uses Merchant Warrior native checkout protocols with the Magento UI option. Magento UI is a more flexible option that allows you to preserve the design of your website while still using Merchant Warrior’s input fields.
The customers' card details are neither entered nor stored on Magento 2 server for security. The integration meets the SAQ A level of PCI compliance.
