Integrate Magento 2 store with the payment gateway using the API key details received during the registration. How Does The Extension Work?
The admin can enable the module to integrate the C2B M-Pesa Payment via OpenAPIPortal for Magento 2. He can set the custom title for the payment method, display the M-Pesa logo at the checkout, and enable the sandbox mode if required. The admin can select one of the API markets from Ghana or Tanzania where he sells the goods. The admin can easily integrate the OpenAPIPortal with Magento 2 using the public key, API key, service provider code, and third-party conversion ID. Moreover, the admin can select the countries to allow using the payment method, enable the debug mode, and set custom instructions to be displayed on the checkout page.
When a customer selects the Vodafone M-Pesa payment method at the checkout, he has to enter the M-Pesa phone number, click the "Place Order" button, confirm the payment from the phone to complete the payments.
The customers can check their payment details under the "My Account" section. Also, the admin can check the customers' payment details in the Sales > Orders > Order View section in the backend.
The admin can also use the Vodafone M-Pesa payment for the backend orders in Magento 2 store.
Security & PCI Compliance:
Using the OpenAPIPortal C2B M-Pesa Payment method, whenever customers add products to cart and proceed to checkout, they have to enter the M-Pesa phone number and confirm the payments from the phone. The whole payment process does not require the customers' card details to be entered or stored on the Magento 2 server and thus it ensures a secure payment process. The integration meets the SAQ A level of PCI Compliance.
