1. How to install it?

Please refer to the Customer Attributes Installation Guide for Magento 2 for detailed instructions to install this extension. It will take you a few minutes to install our extension.

2. What big differences between customer attributes and customer address attributes?

Customer attribute fields are filled in at the customer registration page by first-time customers. Customer attributes help store owners collect customer information for marketing strategies as the main purpose. 

Meanwhile, customer address attributes are placed at the checkout form and used for sign up-already and repeat customers to fill out. With additional attribute fields, customers can give store owners more details of their address and order requests. 

3. How many input types do this extension support?

This extension supports 12 input types for customer attributes and 6 for customer address attributes. 

4. I want to create an image field for customers to upload images. Does this extension support it?

Yes, it is.

5. Can I change the customer attribute sort order?

Of course, you can. Remember, the smaller the attribute’s order number, the higher its priority.

6. If I don’t set the sort order for the attribute A and B, which attribute is placed above?

First, you need to know, if you don’t set the sort order for these two attributes, their default ones will be 0. In this case, their sort order depends on the time it was created. The newly-created attributes are placed above the previously-created one.

7. I want to include some collected customer information in the welcome email. Can I?

Absolutely yes. To do it, you need to add the code of your desired customer attributes to the welcome email template. Then, set it as the email sent to customers.
