Back to topImage Cleaner Extension helps to remove orphan images from the “pub/media/catalog/product” directory. This image cleaner extension checks all images from the product directory and compares them with Magento product images entries in the database and list all "pub/media/catalog/product" directory orphan images in our extension grid. From these grid entries, the admin can delete all those orphan images. This image cleaner extension helps to remove all orphan images and reduce server used space which helps to optimize the server.
Image cleaner extension helps to list all orphan images from the "pub/media/catalog/product" folder. When the admin clicks on load unused images it checks all images from "pub/media/catalog/product" and all product images database entries, so it compares folder images and database product images entries and if folder images are not found in database images entries then list all those orphan image in image cleaner extension grid. After then admin can delete all those orphan images.
