Overview
Back to topE-commerce business is a dynamic process. Many things and changes happen on daily basis. It is good to have control over changes. It is good to have analytics of the changes. For certain types of businesses, catalog prices may change often as it can depend on customer demand, currency stability, and promotion period.
We want to introduce our extension "Price History". It will help to track all pricing changes within each product in a Magento store. A detailed history of each modification includes information as date, price attribute, old price, new price, and the person who did the modification. Such information is useful for analytics (E.g. do a comparison of a number of sales of a particular product and the prices in a specific period to see what gives more profit). Our module provides you the capability of better understanding price management.
Key Features
- Record detailed product price history
- Once the product price is changed, the detailed information is available right away on the product's page in the configuration panel.
- Track bulk price changes are done via import
- If the product information is updated through Magento import via CSV file uploading, price attributes will be watched and the changes are recorded if changed.
- Track third-party price changes done through API calls
- The extension tracks price changes that are committed via Magento API calls.
- Track manual price changes are done by the administrator
- Allows merchants to control all changes to prices manually done by administrator accounts. Each record has information about the account username who did the operation.
- Ability to filter the price history of the product
- Price history for a specific product can be filtered or sorted by fields like date, previous price, revised price, type, changed by. It is especially helpful when the product has a long price history, so it's quick to find the required information.
- Easy to use
