Back to topOverview
Back to topOpenAI Agentic Commerce provides a way for approved merchants to share structured product data so their catalogue can be understood and used in ChatGPT commerce experiences. OpenAI’s product feed documentation describes how merchants can provide catalogue data with standardised fields for product details, pricing, availability, and related attributes, while the merchant onboarding page explains how businesses can apply for access to these workflows.
The Magenable – OpenAI Agentic Commerce Feed extension for Adobe Commerce and Magento Open Source helps merchants generate and maintain product feed files from their store catalogue for use with OpenAI’s commerce specifications. The extension allows merchants to map Magento attributes to the required feed fields, generate export files in supported formats, and automate ongoing updates through cron, reducing manual work and helping keep exported catalogue data consistent and current. OpenAI’s current documentation notes that product feeds are used to help ChatGPT index and display products with up-to-date catalogue information.
Account & Pricing
A separate OpenAI merchant account / onboarding approval is required to use this integration. The account is not created during extension installation. Merchants must apply separately through OpenAI’s merchant onboarding page or follow the onboarding guidance in the OpenAI commerce documentation. OpenAI states that onboarding product feeds is currently available to approved partners, and its merchant page notes that a self-service merchant portal is planned for the future.

OpenAI does not currently provide a public pricing page on the merchant onboarding pages referenced above for this service. Merchants should use the onboarding / merchant pages above to apply and obtain the latest access and commercial details directly from OpenAI.
