To use this extension you have to create a Account on Phonepe and generate the API key and use this api key and merchant id at the time of configuration of this extension.

Security and PCI compliance

This extension integrates with the Unipaas Payment Gateway using a redirect-based flow. When a customer places an order, they are securely redirected to Unipaas’s PCI-DSS-compliant hosted payment page to enter their card or payment details.

All sensitive payment information is handled exclusively on Unipaas's servers — no card details are stored or processed on the Magento server, ensuring complete compliance with industry standards.

As a result, this integration qualifies for SAQ-A level PCI compliance, minimizing the PCI scope for merchants and enhancing overall security.
