Overview

Customers have tons of questions when making purchases or ordering a product online. And they always want to get an immediate response to their queries instead of spending more time talking to customer support or raising a request for assistance. At that time, providing instant support to customers helps store owners dramatically boost the customer experiences as well as increases customer trust & loyalty towards your brand. There are several possible mediums, but WhatsApp is a favorite & widely used cross-platform messaging app that lets users get in touch with friends and family by sharing text and media at any time. Apart from sharing, WhatsApp is used by more than 1 billion active users that gives a golden opportunity for the admin to quickly get in touch with customers & receive their orders by resolving their shopping queries.

Order on WhatsApp Extension by MageComp helps the admin to resolve customer queries & receive customer orders using the Social Media app - WhatsApp. This essential extension helps the admin to build extensive relationships with their store customers by guiding them through the whole purchase.

Account & Pricing:

WhatsApp:  To make use of this extension, you need to have a WhatsApp account. If you already have one, you can use your existing WhatsApp account else you can Download FREE WhatsApp & sign up here. WhatsApp offers completely FREE services to its users for sending & receiving messages.

 Optional Bitly Integration:

To prevent the generation of long product page URLs, you can use Bit.ly API integration which is SaaS that will automatically convert your long product page URL to sweet & tiny links that can be shared via WhatsApp. It's not mandatory to use Bitly services, and the extension can even work flawlessly without enabling Bitly Services.

Bitly Integration: Signup &  Pricing

Features:

  • The convenient backend option to enable or disable extension as per need.
  • You can use this extension only for mobile devices if needed.
  • Backend option to add WhatsApp number and default push message for user convenience.
  • The admin can set the 'Order on WhatsApp' button size as per need using the backend option.
  • Option to enable Bitly integration for shortening product page URL.

How it Works:

Once you have integrated this extension, you need to enable it from the store backend. Merely add the admin WhatsApp number and default push message for user convenience. You can turn on optional Bitly integration for shortening the product page URL if needed. Once the extension is configured correctly, whenever a user clicks on the 'Order on WhatsApp' Button, the user will automatically get redirected to the WhatsApp web or app from the respective device. By default, the extension will automatically send a default push message to the admin along with the product URL.
