Overview
Back to topSometimes the admin requires full control over product quantities to manage stock and availability for every customer. There are several reasons you may need to specify minimum quantities for grouped products either to minimize production and supply cost, encourage the bulk purchase or to make the product available for everyone. Default Magento 2 allows you to set the minimum purchase quantities for a simple product but not for group products.
Minimum Quantity for Group Products by Magecomp allows the store owner to set a minimum quantity for grouped products from the backend. Just navigate to the backend catalog management page and you will find a tab option to set minimum purchase quantities.
REST API Available / GraphQL API Available - Visit Website
Hyvä Addon Available - Visit Website
Compatible with Hyvä Luma Checkout / Hyvä React Checkout
Features:
- Option to enable or disable the extension
- Backend catalog page option to set individual minimum quantities for grouped products
- Customers are validated if they try to checkout with lesser quantities than set from the backend
- Display the error message if the cart doesn't meet the quantity criteria
- Unless the customer fulfills the quantities criteria, the extension does not allow them to proceed to further
How It Works:
Enable the extension from the backend. To set a minimum purchase quantity for the product, navigate to the backend catalog management page where you will find the tab option. Whenever a customer tries to add a product quantity below the minimum threshold value, the extension will display an error in the same frontend product page.
