How It Works:

Once you have installed this extension, first, you need to enable the extension from the store backend. After that, you need to choose whether to display the share cart button only on mobile or not. Next, you need to add a default share cart message that will automatically send when the user clicks on the share cart button, along with the cart URL. The extension enables you to use UTM tracking as well as the Bit.ly API as per your needs from the store backend. When the ever customers click on the ‘share cart’ button from the cart page, they will automatically be redirected to the WhatsApp web or App from the respective device. The extension will automatically send the default message to a selected contact with the list of cart products, along with the price and shortened cart link if bit.ly is enabled.

Optional Bitly Integration:

The extension generates a dynamic link to the Magento store cart page that will automatically get restored on user click. To prevent the generation of such a long URL, you can use Bit.ly API integration, which will automatically convert your Magento cart page URL to a nice & tiny link that can easily be shared via WhatsApp. It's not mandatory to use Bitly services, and the extension can even work flawlessly to share a cart without Bitly. There's no limit on the number on the creation of shortening links using Bitly, and you can also keep shortening URLs forever. But there are some Bitly API limits that you can unblock by upgrading your account to an enterprise Bit.ly account, depending on your usage, to use cart URL shortening facilities.
