Overview

In E-commerce, shipping plays a vital role until the customer receives their products.  That's why shipping can make or break your business in multiple ways.  By using the wrong shipping method, your store customers suffer from a poor shopping experience, which can increase the store's cart abandonment rate.  Every business is different, which is why, as a store owner, you need to offer multiple shipping methods to your customers that can efficiently bring conversions and sales.

By default, Magento provides several different shipping methods.  The flat rate becomes more prominent thanks to its simplicity. Regardless of weight or size, the flat rate is a simple fixed solution that can apply per item. You can set only one Flat Rate Shipping method at a time.  What if you want to add more flat rate shipping methods or want to define your custom shipping method based on your business needs?

The Multiple Flat Rate Shipping extension by MageComp for Magento 2 helps you create and configure up to 5 different flat rate shipping methods in your store based on various conditions and pricing. The extension will help you to overcome the limitation of having only one flat rate shipping method available in Magento. While setting up an extension, the store admin needs to define a custom shipping method name, store frontend title, and enable a shipping method for all or specific countries as needed.

For a better understanding of the shipping method, you can set custom instructions and unavailability messages from the store backend. Using this extension store admin can charge handling fees either in a fixed or percentage manner as per need. Further, it will automatically add to the flat rate price in the calculation.

Hyvä Addon Available - Visit Website

Compatible with Hyvä Luma Checkout / Hyvä React Checkout / Hyvä Checkout

Features:

  • You can add up to 5 different shipping methods from the store backend.
  • Admin can display the shipping method based on the minimum and maximum order subtotals at the frontend.
  • You can enable, disable, or change the configuration of each shipping method at any time.
  • For the unavailability of the shipping method, you can display a custom error message for each.
  • Store admin can enable each shipping method for all or specific countries.
  • The extension can also work with backend orders.
  • Allows you to charge a handling fee in 3 different ways, as per your need:
  1. Fixed
  2. Percentage
  3. Fixed Per Item

How It Works:

Once you integrate this extension, firstly, you need to enable it from the store backend. After that, you need to set up your flat rate shipping method by entering a flat rate shipping method name, front-end store title, and shipping rate price. You can set up a handling fee if needed. Further, you can enable a shipping method for all or specific countries as per your requirements. Also, the extension allows you to add a minimum and a maximum amount of flat rate shipping.

Not only this, but store admins can also add flat rate shipping instructions as well as an unavailability message in the store frontend for better understanding. Once it's configured, whenever a user picks any flat rate shipping method from the storefront, it will automatically add the flat rate shipping price and handling fees in the calculation of the order subtotal as per backend configuration.
