Overview

USPS Shipping Suite v3 is a complete USPS shipping integration for Adobe Commerce and Magento 2 that replaces the deprecated native carrier with modern REST APIs and OAuth2 authentication. This extension connects your store directly to USPS's current API platform, enabling real-time shipping rate calculations at checkout, automated label generation from the admin panel, and webhook-based tracking that pushes delivery updates to your customers, automatically including proof of delivery images in their emails. When customers reach checkout, they see accurate USPS rates with estimated delivery dates displayed as "Arrives Wed, Jan 28" rather than generic service names. After you ship orders, USPS sends tracking events directly to your store via webhooks, triggering automatic email notifications for acceptance, in-transit, out-for-delivery, and delivered statuses with photo proof of delivery. The extension uses USPS's new Domestic Prices v3 API for accurate Commercial Base pricing, which typically offers significant savings over retail rates. Store administrators can create shipping labels directly from the shipment view page, with tracking numbers automatically added to the order. The admin shipment view displays a complete tracking timeline with color-coded status badges showing the package journey from acceptance to delivery.

Features

• Real-Time Shipping Rates - Live rates from USPS Domestic Prices v3 API with intelligent caching and automatic fallback to cached rates if USPS is temporarily unavailable

• Webhook Tracking - USPS pushes tracking updates directly to your store via webhooks with automatic customer email notifications including photo proof of delivery.

• Commercial Pricing - Access Commercial Base rates that typically offer 10-20% savings over retail postage rates

• Label Generation - Create USPS shipping labels directly from the admin shipment view with automatic tracking number assignment

• Transit Time Display - Show "Arrives Wed, Jan 28" at checkout using USPS Service Standards API (requires ShippingCore module)
