Back to topOverview
Back to topFedEx Shipping Suite is a complete FedEx shipping integration for Adobe Commerce that replaces the native SOAP-based carrier with modern REST APIs & OAuth2 authentication. Built on FedEx's latest REST API platform, it connects your store directly to FedEx for real-time rate calculations, automated label generation, and webhook-based package tracking.
When customers reach your checkout page, they see live FedEx shipping rates with estimated delivery dates displayed as friendly text like "Arrives Wed, Jan 28" rather than generic service names, helping them make informed shipping decisions and reducing cart abandonment. After you ship orders from the admin panel, FedEx sends tracking events directly to your store via webhooks, triggering automatic email notifications at every milestone: pickup, in-transit, out-for-delivery, and delivered. The delivered notification can even include FedEx's proof-of-delivery photo, giving customers visual confirmation and dramatically reducing "where's my package?" support tickets. Store administrators create shipping labels in the format that fits their operation — PDF for office printers, PNG for thermal-compatible output, or ZPL/EPL for direct thermal printing on Zebra and compatible printers. The admin shipment view displays a complete tracking timeline with color-coded status badges, delivery photos, and signature proof. Whether you ship a handful of orders per day or thousands, FedEx Shipping Suite streamlines your entire fulfillment workflow from rate quote to final delivery confirmation.
Account & Pricing
A FedEx Developer Account is required to use this product. The account is free and must be created separately at https://developer.fedex.com. After creating your developer account, you will generate API credentials (Client ID & Client Secret) and enter them into the admin configuration. You will also need a FedEx Account Number for production shipping; if you do not already have one, you can sign up at https://www.fedex.com/en-us/open-account.html. There are no additional fees for the FedEx APIs themselves — FedEx provides the Rate, Ship, Track, and Address Validation APIs at no cost. Standard FedEx shipping charges apply when you create shipments and labels. This product also requires the free Jscriptz Shipping Core companion from Adobe Commerce Marketplace for transit time display and shared shipping features.
