JaJuMa Auto Select Options enables you to improve the user experience in your store significantly by making your store smart and remembering the preferences for each of your customers.

With our Auto Select Option extension, Configurable & Custom Options in your Magento 2 store will be automatically selected whenever a customer visits a product page as well as optionally on category pages...

Of course, our Auto Select Options is compatible with Magento Luma as well as Hyvä Theme front ends. 

Configurable Options can be auto selected based on following rules and priorities:

1. First available option (Optional, if enabled):
   When a customer comes to a Product Detail Page (PDP) or Category Pages (PLP) with configurable options, the first available options will be automatically selected.
   
   Auto selection of first available options are overruled by selections by Super Attribute / per SKU:
2. By Super Attribute (Optional, as configured):
   For "Super Attributes", the last selected option for this attribute by customer on Product Detail Page (PDP) or Category Pages (PLP) will be remembered and applied globally to any SKU with the same configurable option.
   
   Selections remembered for a Super Attribute are overruled by selections per SKU:
3. Per SKU (Default, always enabled):
   Configurable option selections by the customer for a certain SKU are remembered and automatically re-applied when the customer come back to this SKU.
   
   Auto selections based on previous selections by customer per SKU have the highest priority and are always applied if available.

Custom Options are auto selected as follows:

1. By Super Custom Option Label (Optional, as configured):
   For "Super Custom Options", the last selected option for this option by customer will be remembered and applied globally to any SKU with the same Custom Option.
   
   Selections remembered for a Super Custom Option are overruled by selections per SKU:
   
2. Per SKU (Default, always enabled):
   Custom Option selections by customer for a certain SKU are remembered and automatically re-applied when customer come back to this SKU.

  • Radio
  • Checkbox
•  Additionally, customer inputs in custom options type: 
  • Text Field &
  • Text Area
    are remembered per SKU and automatically input again when the customer come back to same SKU.

Example User Journey

Image your customer, John. His favorite color is blue and his size is L.

1. He visits product A, first options will be auto-selected, but he selects "blue" and "L".
2. Now he change to Product B - With our extension, "blue" and "L" will be already auto selected for John!
3. Next, John checks some product for his wife, her favorite color is "orange" and her size is "S".
4. John selects "orange" and "S" and adds the product to cart.
5. Now he come back to Product B in order to buy it together with the product for his wife - he will find "blue" and "L" remembered and already preselected for him and happily adds the product to cart before moving to checkout!
