Responsive Images

Responsive images are a web design strategy that optimizes image display across different devices and screen sizes by serving appropriately sized images based on the user's device and viewport.
With responsive images your Magento store will benefits from improved loading times, reduced bandwidth consumption, and a better overall user experience, as images are tailored to fit the device's specific needs, enhancing both performance and visual appeal.

Lazy Loading

By enabling lazy loading, images on your site will be only loaded while visible within the viewport / when the user is scrolling down.
This will speed up page load times for your customers, save bandwidth for your customers as well as for you.

Image Optimization Status & Statistics

Image optimization status & statistics data can be updated regularly via cron job or manually from the Backend/via CLI and provides a clear and up-to-date overview in the Backend of which images have been optimized (= converted to AVIF, WebP & High-Res/Responsive/LQIP versions created depending on your configuration) and which images are still pending conversion/optimization.

For each image converted to AVIF/WebP, you can see the file sizes and savings realized in Image Optimization Status screen.
