JaJuMa Resource Hints: Preload Critical Resources & Assets allows you to configure global Resource Hints applied to all your pages:

• DNS Prefetch:
  Perform a DNS lookup for resources & assets to be loaded from another domain in the background
• Preconnect:
  Setup a full connection for resources & assets to be loaded from another domain in the background, including DNS lookups, TLS negotiations, TCP handshakes 
• Preload:
  Load what is critical and important for the browser to render your page first.
  Our extension also allows you to preload your Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) image to improve your LCP KPI - see details below.
• Prefetch:
  Fetch a resource with low priority and save it in cache
  Prefetched resources will be then already available when the user visits a page later that requires this file. 
• Early Hints:
  Indicate to the browser to load a resource as soon as possible. Early Hints sends preload hints to the browser ahead of a final response, allowing it to start fetching critical resources (e.g., image, CSS, JavaScript) immediately.
  (This option only works for sites running on Cloudflare)

With our extension, you can have your LCP element/image preloaded 

• On Homepage / CMS Page:
  Manually configured LCP image, optionally also responsive image
• On Category Pages:
  Manually configured or automatically selected the Category Image or the First Item in Grid image
• On Product Detail Page:
  Automatically selected the first image in Media Gallery

This extension is fully compatible with our WebP Optimized Images and our Ultimate Image Optimizer extension.
This means, while using one of these two extensions, the preload for LCP image will automatically always be the best available image format, WebP or AVIF and even responsive/High-Res images are considered for preload if available.

Account and Pricing

For using the Early Hints option, your site must be running on Cloudflare.
If you do not have a Cloudflare account, you can register here.
Cloudflare can be used for free or with a paid plan.
All other features do work without Cloudflare and do not require a 3rd Party Integration.
