Features
The Dominate ERP Connector for NetSuite is a comprehensive NetSuite integration solution for Magento 2 and Adobe Commerce merchants:
- Order Sync (Magento to NetSuite): Automatically sync Magento orders to NetSuite SalesOrders as they are placed. Includes line items, billing and shipping addresses, tax codes, discounts, shipping costs, payment information, and coupon codes. Configure shipping method and payment method mappings between Magento and NetSuite. Supports NetSuite subsidiaries, currencies, locations, and custom entity selection per order.
- Customer Sync (Magento to NetSuite): Sync Magento customer records to NetSuite Customer records with full contact details, addresses, and customer attributes. Supports conditional mapping rules and value translation tables for complete control over how customer data flows from Magento to NetSuite. Configurable NetSuite subsidiary and currency assignment.
- Inventory Sync (NetSuite to Magento): Keep your Magento catalog up to date with automatic hourly inventory syncs from NetSuite. Choose between NetSuite Quantity On Hand or Quantity Available. Supports Magento MSI (Multi-Source Inventory) with per-warehouse stock levels mapped to NetSuite locations — ideal for merchants operating multiple warehouses or fulfillment centers in NetSuite.
- Price Sync (NetSuite to Magento): Sync product prices from NetSuite price levels to Magento automatically. Supports NetSuite price levels and multi-currency pricing configurations.
- Fulfillment Sync (Configurable Direction): Sync shipments and tracking information between Magento and NetSuite ItemFulfillments. Choose the direction that matches your workflow — push Magento shipments to NetSuite, or pull NetSuite ItemFulfillments to Magento. Supports warehouse-aware fulfillment with NetSuite location mapping to Magento MSI sources.
- Refund Sync (Configurable Direction): Sync Magento credit memos and NetSuite Return Authorizations between both systems, with configurable sync direction.
- Product Import (NetSuite to Magento): Import products from NetSuite into your Magento catalog, including configurable products with up to 3 variant dimensions (e.g., color, size, material). Import all active NetSuite items or use NetSuite Saved Searches to target specific product sets. Supports product images, custom attribute mapping, and update-existing mode for ongoing catalog synchronization.
- Custom Field Mapping: Map any Magento field to any NetSuite field — standard or custom. Use fixed values, dynamic field-to-field mapping, conditional rules (10 operators including equals, contains, in-list, and more), and value translation tables to handle complex data transformation requirements between Magento and NetSuite without custom code.
- Cloud Dashboard: Configure your Magento – NetSuite integration, monitor sync activity, and troubleshoot issues from the Dominate dashboard. Includes detailed per-record sync reports with error classification, manual retry support, and real-time sync status for all modules.
Why Choose the Dominate ERP Connector for NetSuite?
- Purpose-built for Magento – NetSuite integration — not a generic middleware platform. Every feature is designed for the specific data flows between Adobe Commerce and NetSuite.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Dominate ERP Connector for NetSuite have a sandbox environment? Yes, you can configure NetSuite sandbox credentials to validate your Magento – NetSuite integration before going live with production data.
What NetSuite authentication method is used? The Dominate ERP Connector uses NetSuite Token-Based Authentication (TBA) with OAuth 1.0. Your NetSuite Account ID, Consumer Key/Secret, and Token ID/Secret are stored encrypted (AES-256-CBC) on the Dominate platform and are never exposed to your Magento store.
Can I sync only specific modules? Yes, each sync module (orders, customers, inventory, prices, fulfillments, refunds, product import) can be enabled or disabled independently. You only sync what you need.
Can I map custom fields between Magento and NetSuite? Yes, the Dominate ERP Connector supports flexible custom field mapping for both orders and customers. You can map Magento fields to standard or custom NetSuite fields (including custom body fields and custom column fields), set fixed values, apply conditional rules with 10 operators, and define value translation tables.
How often does inventory and price data sync from NetSuite? Inventory and price syncs from NetSuite to Magento run automatically every hour. The connector intelligently skips items that haven't changed since the last sync to minimize unnecessary API calls.
Does the extension support configurable products? Yes, the product import feature supports creating Magento configurable products from NetSuite matrix items with up to 3 variant dimensions (e.g., color, size, material), including automatic creation of simple product variants.
Can I import products from a specific subset of my NetSuite catalog? Yes, you can import all active NetSuite items or use a NetSuite Saved Search to target a specific product set. This gives you full control over which items from NetSuite appear in your Magento catalog.
Does it support Magento Multi-Source Inventory (MSI)? Yes, the inventory sync supports Magento MSI with per-source stock levels. You can map NetSuite warehouse locations to Magento MSI sources so each warehouse maintains its own inventory quantity. Fulfillment sync also supports MSI — shipments are created against the correct Magento source based on the NetSuite fulfillment location.
Does it support NetSuite OneWorld (multi-subsidiary)? Yes, the Dominate ERP Connector fully supports NetSuite OneWorld environments. You can configure subsidiary, currency, and location assignments per sync module to match your multi-subsidiary structure.
How much does the Magento NetSuite connector cost? Pricing depends on your integration requirements. Contact us for a personalized quote and to discuss your Magento – NetSuite integration needs.
What happens if a sync fails? Failed syncs are logged with detailed error information in the Dominate dashboard. Errors are classified as retryable (network/connection issues) or non-retryable (configuration/permission issues). You can review the error details and manually retry failed records directly from the dashboard.
Do I need a NetSuite developer to set up the integration? No custom NetSuite development is required. The Dominate team handles the initial NetSuite configuration, including setting up the Token-Based Authentication role and configuring the integration modules. Contact us for onboarding assistance.
Information Security
The Dominate ERP Connector extension communicates with the Dominate cloud platform using HMAC-authenticated API calls. All communication between your Magento store and the Dominate platform is encrypted over HTTPS. Your NetSuite credentials (Account ID, Consumer Key/Secret, Token ID/Secret) are stored encrypted at rest (AES-256-CBC) on the Dominate platform and are never exposed to your Magento store.
The data exchanged between your Magento store and the Dominate ERP Connector platform includes:
- Order details (order ID, line items, quantities, totals, billing and shipping addresses)
- Customer information (email, name, addresses, customer attributes)
- Inventory quantities and product prices
- Shipment and tracking information
- Credit memo and refund details
- Product catalog data (name, description, weight, price, images, variants)
