Overview

The OrderComments module for Magento 2 is an admin-side module that allows store admins to manage and send custom order comments via email. This module simplifies the process of sending custom emails to customers based on their order information, making it an ideal solution for stores that require personalized communication with their customers (Eg: Sending gift cards to orders that exceed a certain amount). This module allows admin to create personalized order comments with a title, content, and an associated email template ID. Once the order comment is created, the admin can import a CSV file containing order increment IDs, and the module will automatically fetch the corresponding customer email addresses. Using the predefined email template, the module will send tailored emails to the customers associated with the specified order increment IDs. This functionality simplifies the process of sending bulk notifications to customers while maintaining a professional and consistent email design.

Features

  • Order Comment Creation: Easily create custom order comments within the Magento 2 admin panel, including a title, content, and an associated email template ID for consistent messaging.
  • CSV Import Functionality: Upload a CSV file containing order increment IDs to streamline the process of targeting specific orders for email notifications.
  • Automated Email Fetching: The module automatically retrieves customer email addresses corresponding to the order increment IDs in the imported CSV file.
  • Email Template Integration: Utilize Magento’s email template system to fetch the template design and apply it to the emails sent out, ensuring a consistent brand experience.
  • Bulk Email Sending: Once the emails are generated using the order comments and template design, the module sends them out to all fetched email addresses, simplifying mass communication.
  • Enable/Disable Configuration: Control the module’s functionality using the enable/disable option available in the Magento 2 admin configuration panel.
