The Harris Web Works NoticeBanner extension allows Adobe Commerce and Magento 2 store owners to display a prominent, fully customizable notification banner at the very top of their storefront — above the header and navigation. This banner is ideal for announcing flash sales, limited-time promotions, free shipping offers, holiday deals, store updates, or any urgent message you want every visitor to see immediately upon landing on your site.

Once installed, the extension adds a new configuration section under Stores → Configuration → HarrisWebWorks → Notice Banner in your Admin Panel. From there, you can enable or disable the banner, enter your custom message using HTML formatting, set your preferred background and text colors using hex codes, and schedule exactly when the banner should appear and disappear. A powerful built-in countdown timer shortcode [hww_timer] can be inserted into your message to display a live countdown that automatically counts down to your specified end time — creating urgency and driving customers to act fast.

Customization is simple and flexible. You control the message content (supports HTML for bold text, links, and formatting), the background color, the text color, and the display schedule. For multi-store setups, you can configure different banners for each store view — perfect for multilingual stores or regional promotions.
