The parent SKU, also referred to as the "Master SKU" or "Parent Product SKU," is a distinctive identifier assigned to a base product that has several variations or child SKUs linked to it. This Parent SKU serves as a unifying label, grouping and organizing related product variants under a single identifier.
Merchants can establish rules for specific bundle child products or apply discounts based on the parent SKU, which will be automatically applied to all associated child products. Additionally, the extension offers various complementary features, including displaying discounted prices in the cart & mini-cart, providing upsell cart hints, featuring a robust rules engine, and more.
