Integration Method

The extension uses API-based communication for two primary functions:

• License Authentication: The extension securely transmits license to our validation API.
  • No customer data, payment data, or personally identifiable information (PII) is collected or stored during this process.
• Payment Processing: Integration with Stripe is handled via Stripe’s hosted payment elements and APIs. This setup allows customers to enter payment data directly within Stripe’s secure environment (either embedded via JavaScript or redirected to Stripe’s hosted checkout).

PCI Compliance & Data Handling

Because customers’ payment data is collected and processed directly by Stripe, no payment card information passes through or is stored on the Magento server.
This architecture minimizes PCI scope for the merchant’s environment and qualifies the integration under PCI DSS Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ) A requirements.

• Customer Data Entry: Payment data is entered on Stripe’s secure domain or hosted elements, not within the Magento environment.
