PageBuilder Testimonials Slider

PageBuilder Testimonials Slider is an extension for Adobe Commerce and Magento Open Source that adds two native Page Builder content types — Testimonials and Testimonial — so merchants can create, order, and style customer-review and social-proof sections directly in the Page Builder editor using drag-and-drop, without writing code or editing theme files. After installation, a Testimonials element appears in the Page Builder panel (Elements section) next to the standard content types. A merchant drags it onto any CMS page, CMS block, or category / product description that supports Page Builder, then drops individual Testimonial items inside it. Each testimonial provides a dedicated Author field, a Company (role / organization) field, and a WYSIWYG-enabled Message field for the quote itself, so content editors format review text exactly as they do in every other Page Builder content type. On the storefront the testimonials render as a fully responsive carousel, and the merchant controls autoplay, autoplay speed (milliseconds between slides), fade transition, infinite loop, navigation arrows, and pagination dots from the slider's Settings panel. Both the slider container and each individual testimonial expose the standard Page Builder style controls — background color and image, overlay color, border style / color / width / radius, minimum height, margins and padding, and text alignment — so the section matches any theme without custom CSS, and every value can be changed again at any time from the editor. Typical uses include a rotating customer-quote band on the homepage, a dedicated reviews block on a campaign landing page, or trust-building testimonials placed inside a product description. The extension registers its content types automatically on installation and adds no admin configuration screens, cron jobs, or third-party service accounts; uninstalling it removes the content types while leaving your other Page Builder content untouched.

What changes on your site

Installing the extension adds the Testimonials element to the Page Builder editor for admin users; it makes no changes to the storefront until a merchant places the element on a page. Once placed, the only front-end change is the testimonial section the merchant builds — rendered with the theme's own typography and the style values chosen in the editor. No global CSS, layout, or checkout behavior is altered, and existing content is unaffected.

Customization

All content and styling is editable at any time from the Page Builder editor. Markup for both content types is delivered through standard Page Builder templates and a dedicated LESS file, so front-end developers can override the templates or extend the styles from a theme or child module using normal Magento fallback — no core changes needed.
