The Three Most Popular Social Feeds
Magento 2 social feed extension by FME EXTENSIONS is aimed to provide maximum value when it comes to exhibiting your social media content. It dynamically transports posts to your website from the 3 most popular social networking sites: Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Clicking on a post will take you to that particular post on the platform.
Live Social Media Content
Automatically sync content from Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter accounts to your website. Every time you post something new to your social media account, it is added automatically to your Social Feed on your site.
Dedicated Page And/Or CMS Page
Whether you would like to have a dedicated landing page for your social media or display it as a block in one of your CMS pages, the extension supports you. To display it in a CMS page, you need to insert code in the page’s content. Navigate to CONTENT > Pages > Add New Page or Edit > Content from the admin panel and insert the following code.
Custom Heading & Sub-Heading
Give a relevant title and description to the social media landing page. Make it look good by beautifully describing what the page is about.
Custom URL Prefix & Suffix
Specify the landing page’s URL prefix and suffix. For example, socialfeed.html. It will help you rank your social feed landing page.
Load More Buttons
Give relevant labels to the Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram load more buttons that will appear when you display social feeds on a CMS page. In the above code, you can set the number of posts to be displayed by default. The same number of posts will load upon clicking the ‘Load More’ button.
Disable Any Social Media Feed
You have the option not to display feeds from any of the 3 social media platforms, both on the landing page and CMS page. To disable one on the landing page, just disable the Tab from the configurations. To disable one on a CMS page, specify 0 for the relevant account in the code. Example: enable_fb="0".
Other Feed Settings
Apart from disabling a social feed altogether, you can remove its caption, media or post date. For example, you may want to display a social media posts without the heading, image or the date it was posted. You can configure all these settings according to your requirements.
