Overview
Back to topAdvanced layout manager for Magento 2 allows you to login as customer and edit any product, category, CMS page, or block from the frontend. Admin can click the Edit button on the frontend to open the relevant product, category, block & CMS edit page. A preview button on the back end allows you to instantly see any changes you make from the back end instead of navigating to customer view. You can specify the time for which to stay logged in on front end.
The extension acts as a front end editor that brings the ultimate convenience to content editing and layout customization. It saves admins a lot of steps when they are to make changes in content. They no longer have to find the required edit page, make edits from the backend, and navigate to customer view to preview the changes. Instead, they are able to make quick changes to any page directly from the site’s frontend.
Key Features
- Get edit buttons for the following pages on the frontend
- Any product page
- Any category page
- Any CMS page
- Any block
- Preview button on back end
- Login as customer
- Set front end login time
Edit Any Product Page On Frontend
Clicking the ‘Enable Frontend Editing’ button takes you to the frontend editor where you can click on any product and then on the ‘Edit This Product’ button. This takes you to the relevant product edit page. You can make any changes you want and after saving the changes, click on ‘Preview’ to see them right there.
Edit Any Category Page On Frontend
Like the product page, you can go to any category on the frontend and click ‘Edit This Category’ to be directed to its edit page. Make the changes and preview them right on frontend.
Edit Any CMS Page On Frontend
Do you feel the need to edit any CMS page such as ‘About Us’, or ‘Privacy Policy’? You can do so directly on the frontend.
Edit Any Block On Frontend
If you have added a block anywhere on a page and want to change its content or layout, the extension allows you to do so on frontend. You can add/delete pictures, links, videos, change the layout or delete the block altogether.
Preview Button On Back End
The extension adds a preview button on the backend that saves you from navigating to customer view to preview the changes you make. If you prefer making edits on the backend, use the preview button to confirm the changes right on the page. Note that you have to save the changes first.
Set Frontend Login Time
Enter time in seconds for which you want to stay logged in on frontend.
