Overview

eTechFlow XML Sitemap generates search-engine sitemaps for your Magento 2 and Adobe Commerce store, listing product, category and CMS URLs plus any custom URLs you add, so Google, Bing and other engines can discover and index every page. For each URL type you control the change frequency and priority, can emit product gallery images as image entries, and can add hreflang alternates across the store views of a website. When the catalogue is large the module automatically splits the sitemap across multiple files and writes a sitemap index, staying within the sitemaps.org 50,000-URL-per-file limit. You rebuild on demand from the admin, on a nightly cron, or from the command line, and the finished sitemap.xml is written to your web root so it is reachable at https://your-domain/sitemap.xml. Everything is configured from a single admin section under Stores → Configuration → eTechFlow → Sitemap, and the module ships disabled by default so nothing is written until you enable it.

From the admin page under Marketing you see every sitemap file already generated — name, size and last-modified — and a Generate Now button that rebuilds the sitemap for every enabled store view immediately. Products, categories and CMS pages each have their own include toggle, change frequency and priority, and products can additionally carry image entries. You can add your own custom URLs one per line, exclude specific product SKUs, category IDs or CMS identifiers, and turn on hreflang for multi-locale websites. The generator runs entirely inside Magento — reading catalogue, category and CMS data and writing the files locally — with no outbound API calls, no third-party keys and no subscriptions.

Features

  • Products, categories, CMS and custom URLs — include any combination and add your own extra URLs with an optional priority and change frequency.
  • Per-type change frequency and priority — independent changefreq and priority for products, categories and CMS pages, per store view.
  • Product image entries — optionally emit <image:image> tags for each product's gallery images for richer image indexing.
  • Hreflang alternates — emit <xhtml:link rel="alternate" hreflang="..."> across the store views of a website for multi-locale stores.
  • Exclusion rules — omit specific product SKUs, category IDs or CMS identifiers.
  • Automatic sitemap-index splitting — when a file would exceed 50,000 URLs, files split and a sitemap index is written.
  • Multi-store / multi-website — correct per-store output; the default store view writes the canonical sitemap.xml.
  • Generate on demand, on cron, or via CLI — admin Generate Now, an opt-in nightly cron, or bin/magento etechflow:sitemap:generate.
  • Self-contained — no external services, keys or subscriptions; ships disabled by default.
