Back to topOverview
Back to topFAQ and Help Centre is a fast, SEO-friendly, fully self-contained knowledge-base and FAQ platform for Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce. It owns all of its own data, routing, admin and rendering, works identically on Luma and Hyva, and never depends on PageBuilder, Tailwind or a third-party theme.
Merchants organise questions into categories, publish rich answers with their own SEO metadata, and let shoppers search, vote on and even submit questions — all from a clean set of storefront pages and a native Magento admin. Every listing and detail page can be included in your generated sitemap.xml and ships with FAQPage and BreadcrumbList structured data, so your help content works for both customers and search engines.
Features
- Categories and Q&A — organise questions into categories with icons and sort order; each Q&A has its own admin grid and form (question, subtitle, rich answer, SEO meta)
- Clean, SEO-friendly URLs — a listing at /faqs and slug-based detail pages at /faqs/{category}/{slug} via a dedicated router
- Live AJAX search — type-ahead suggestions on the listing, with a graceful client-side fallback
- Helpful voting — “Was this helpful?” Yes/No on every detail page, de-duplicated by hashed IP, with counts visible in admin
- Visitor question submissions — an opt-in “Ask your own question” form with a Pending admin moderation grid, honeypot and per-IP rate limiting
- Tags and related articles — cross-category tag pages and an automatic related-articles grid on each detail page
- Schema.org FAQPage and BreadcrumbList JSON-LD, OpenGraph and Twitter Card meta, and optional inclusion in sitemap.xml
- Three read-only public REST API endpoints return categories and items as JSON
- Full branding and layout configuration — colours, font, hero banner, contact cards, trust bar and per-feature toggles, with no template forks
- Server-rendered PHTML with scoped CSS and tiny vanilla JavaScript — no jQuery, no RequireJS, identical on Hyva and Luma
Compatibility
- Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce 2.4.4 - 2.4.9
- PHP 8.1 - 8.5
- Luma and Hyva themes. The module uses its own dedicated tables and makes no changes to the catalog
Support
Every license includes installation support and updates. Detailed setup, configuration and usage instructions are provided in the included User Guide, Installation Guide and Reference Manual.
