Trader Information
Back to topOverview
Back to topDelivery Date lets your customers choose exactly when they want their order delivered, directly at checkout. A "Choose your delivery day" calendar and time-slot picker appears inside the checkout shipping step, while you keep full control over which days are available, the bookable time intervals, and any holiday or exception days that should be blocked. The chosen day and slot are saved to the order, shown in the Sales > Orders grid, and included in the order confirmation email, so the agreed delivery window is captured once and never lost.
After installation, a new eTechFlow section appears in the Magento Admin where you define bookable time intervals, block exception and holiday dates, and configure availability per store view. Nothing changes for shoppers except that a clear delivery-day selector is added to the existing checkout - the storefront theme, cart, and payment steps are untouched, and the picker renders natively on both Hyva and Luma. Typical uses include letting grocery, florist, or furniture stores offer scheduled delivery windows, blocking public holidays, giving customers a one-click "get it as soon as possible" option, and letting shoppers reschedule their own delivery day from a secure link in the confirmation email - which reduces "where is my order" support tickets. Everything is controlled from the admin, so the checkout can be tailored per store view without editing templates.
