Spammer and bot activities attack all the forms available on your site. Mainly, they target the Registration forms. Those fake registrations try to slow down or hack your site. Therefore, Team Equinox introduced this module to prevent those types of activities.

When front-end users visit a site and register using the Magento default registration form, the IP Address is stored in the System using the module. The IP Address you can use for restricting the user to visit your site from a particular IP Address. For that, you have to include the IP Address in the Black List. The Black List feature is available in the module and you can find that in the System Configuration Area.

Key Features:

  • Track IP Address of users during Registration
  • Black List IP Address
  • Restrict Black Listed IP Address to visit site buy 403 Permission Error
  • Add any number of IP Addresses in Black List
  • Add external IP Address also
  • Add a range of IP Address with '*' sign as defined in Image.
  • Easy to add and remove an IP address

Track Registration IP Address:

When a Frontend user tries to register this module, it is used to track the IP address and store IP address into the system. The Admin can see the registered user IP address from the Admin panel in the Customer Information Area.

Restrict/Block IP Address:

After the registration of the user, if the Admin thinks that registration is fake or for any other reason, they can Black List that user. Then, the Admin can add that registered users can add IP addresses, which are found in the order-area or any external IP Address. Also, can be added whichever the admin wants to restrict.
