Overview

Cash on Delivery (COD) is a widely used payment method across many regions, especially in markets like India where customers prefer to pay at the time of delivery. COD reduces risk for customers but can create logistical challenges for merchants if it is not carefully managed—particularly when delivery partners restrict COD availability to specific pincodes, states, or product categories.

The COD Pincode Checker for Magento helps merchants overcome these challenges by integrating COD eligibility rules directly into the Magento checkout process. With this extension, you can validate a customer’s pincode, state, order value, or product category before offering COD as a payment option. This ensures that customers only see COD when it is truly available, reducing failed deliveries and improving customer satisfaction. Merchants can also configure custom restriction messages and upload bulk pincode lists for efficient management.
