Non Buyable Products

Non Buyable Products extension allows store owners to take advantage of a product page layout to display information or product but disable the ability to buy such items at the same time.

This extension can be used, for example, for:

• Displaying old non-saleable products for SEO purposes.
• Promoting products from other websites as if they were part of your catalog.
• Ask a user to contact you for pricing information.
• Showing informational pages using product layouts.

There is also an option to disable wishlist for such items; to disable price and replace it with a custom phrase; to disable “Add to cart” button and replace it with a custom phrase; to disable checkout and any sales of non-purchasable products.

The extension uses the best development practices and doesn’t hurt store performance, page score or user experience.

Features

• Mark products as such that “Can’t be bought”
  A custom checkbox is available in product edit form that allows you to mark any product as non-saleable.
• Hide or replace prices
  You can optionally hide prices for non-buyable products in product listing, wishlist, comparison pages, product details, widgets or even replace it with a customizable text.
• Hide or replace “Add to cart” buttons
  “Add to cart” buttons are automatically disabled for the target products. And there is an option to set a replacement phrase for the “Add to cart” button on the product details page.
• Disable wishlist
  The extension has an ability to disable Wishlist for non-buyable products. In that case “Add to wishlist” button is removed for these items and customers can’t add products to the Wishlist in any alternative way.
• Disable comparison
  The extension has an ability to disable the product comparison feature for non-saleable products. In that case the “Compare” button is removed for these items.
