This downloadable Magento 2 extension integrates your store with the official Smarty Address Validation API to verify customer shipping addresses in real time and improve delivery accuracy.

    Smarty is a leading provider of address validation and location intelligence services.     During checkout, the extension automatically validates the customer's shipping address by sending the complete address—including street, city, state, ZIP/postal code, and country—to the official Smarty Address Validation API. The API returns standardized and suggested addresses, allowing customers to select the most accurate shipping destination before placing their order.

    If Smarty cannot validate the address, merchants can allow customers to continue using the original address or require address confirmation based on the module configuration. This flexibility helps balance customer convenience with shipping accuracy.

    The extension also validates customer addresses when creating or editing entries in the Magento Address Book, helping maintain clean and accurate customer records throughout your store.
