Estes Shipping Carrier has provided top-quality transportation solutions since 1931. Throughout the years, high integrity and an unwavering commitment to our customers have guided our growth from a small, one-man operation to one of the top 25 carriers in the industry.
This extension will calculate Estes Freight Carrier Shipping Rates. Shipping rates will be displayed at checkout and the shopping cart page. Rates will be based on the merchant warehouse address, a customer destination address, and shopping cart weight. You should check all screenshots to understanding the flow of extension.
The website admin will have an option to enter a minimum weight for shipment. If cart items weight will more than minimum weight then only carriers rates will show. The admin can enable and disable liftgate service, inside delivery options. Admin can also enable quotes based on customer shipping address type if Residential or Commercial. Admin can also add shipping markup price with shipping quotes.
Account & Pricing
You need to signup for a free Estes Carrier account to use that extension. After signup, you will get username and password for API access which you need to configure Magento admin panel module settings.
Estes Carriers API calling will be free. You have to pay only for shipment which you will create for customers to ship any package to their address.
Features:
- You can enable and disable liftgate service, notify delivery and residential options.
- You can enter the shipping class at the product level or enter the global shipping class for all products. If product level shipping class exists then the extension will override the global shipping class.
- You can enter extra SKID weight at the product level.
- You can set minimum weight in settings to display carrier rates.
- You can add extra shipping price in shipping cost based on order total.
- You can show custom error messages to a customer if Estes shipping not able to calculate shipping rates.
- The extension will auto-detect the customer city name if the customer is not logged in default USA database to fetch rates.
