This extension for Magento makes your catalog management much more efficient and faster without any additional knowledge required as all product updates will be made in Excel and directly updated in Magento.
cobby offers a single place to maintain your whole online shop catalog without having to switch to the Magento backend: As all product data from Magento is connected with Excel, you can edit your product catalog directly in Excel and with one click it is also updated in real-time in your Magento shop. You can create new products, update prices, upload images and much more. Do so for an unlimited number of products in a very short time. Not only save these bulk uploads much time but also a lot of nerves. Apply your Excel skills to maintain your Magento shop efficiently. You have to add discounts for thousands of products due to holidays such as Black Friday? Features
- Real-time processing: Edit products in real-time in Excel. By saving, these changes will be directly updated in your Magento shop. Changes are immediately shown in a traffic light system in Excel which ensures that no data will be overwritten.
- Create new products: Creating products often costs a lot of time - not with cobby and Excel. Simply copy existing products and paste them as new ones, make necessary adjustments and save - done!
- Upload images: Simply upload images per drag and drop and define whether they should be the main image, preview image or gallery image as well as their order within the gallery. Missing images will be indicated which serves to provide complete product details of every product. No image available? Not with cobby!
- Updating prices: Bulk update supplier prices or add discounts for thousands of products.
- Manage all product types: Multiple products can be created, edited or duplicated at once. From simple, configurable to bundle products - all types are supported. Create sets in a fast manner!
- Use all familiar Excel formulas: No need to learn a new program. Simply apply the Excel formulas that you are used to in order to maintain your online shop.
- Error assistant: If mandatory product fields are not filled, this is marked red in cobby-Excel and can be easily maintained. Input errors and necessary corrections are clearly indicated.

How It Works
Firstly, cobby has to be installed in the Magento backend. Then the user will be asked to complete the connection configuration by going through some steps in the cobby software.
