MagentAI turns your store into a conversation. It adds an AI assistant that answers questions using your real catalog, orders, customers, revenue, inventory and promotions data — never invented — and, for administrators, can act on the store through permission-gated tools that always ask for confirmation before making a change.

It works everywhere your store lives: the admin panel, the storefront, and headless frontends via REST and GraphQL.

What it does

• Answers, grounded in real data. "What did we actually earn this month after refunds?", "Which products are low on stock?", "Show order #000000001" — every answer comes from live store data.
• Acts, safely. Adjust stock, update prices, hold/refund orders, enable/disable products and more — each action is checked against the logged-in admin's permissions and requires an explicit Confirm click, then is written to an audit log.
• Exports on demand. "Export recent orders to CSV" returns a secure, expiring download link that opens in a new tab.
• Helps shoppers. On the storefront, customers find products and — when signed in — check their own orders and account details. Guests get catalog help only.
• Headless-ready. Full REST and GraphQL APIs with token-scoped customer identity for PWA/headless storefronts.

• Server-verified identity everywhere — admin and customer identity come from the session/token, never from the client, preventing privilege escalation and cross-account data exposure.
• Role-based (ACL) tool access — the assistant can only do what the logged-in admin is allowed to do.
• Confirmation + audit for every write. CSRF protection on the storefront. Read-only safeguards for any AI-generated SQL fallback. Signed, expiring download links.
• Rate limiting (configurable) to prevent abuse.

Installation

composer require chk/magentai
bin/magento module:enable CHK_MagentAI

Then set your AI provider API key in Stores → Configuration → CHK MagentAI.
