Overview

BORICA Payments plugin is developed to simplify the process of debit and credit card payments acceptance by virtual POS terminal. BORICA is a third-party processor (TPP) for Mastercard and VISA and processes transactions securely according to PCI DSS standards. In order to accept payments using this Magento module, you need to sign a contract for virtual POS terminal with one of BORICA partners. The usage of BORICA Payments plugin is free of any charge.

Security:

Sensitive cardholder data is not being entered or/and stored in Magento server. The process is secured by redirecting your customers to BORICA's payment page where they enter card details and a request is processed by BORICA (PCI DSS certified payment provider).

During card payments acceptance on the internet, EMV 3DSecure protocol applies. It ensures cardholder authentication (confirmation by passwords or biometric authentication). This increases the level of security for cardholders and prevents merchants from disputed payments.
