Security

This extension uses the BlockBolt API to process payments, making transactions fast and secure. It sends only the necessary details—like payment amount, currency, and recipient wallet address—each time a customer checkout. No personal customer data is stored or shared beyond what’s needed to complete the payment.

At checkout, the customer is redirected to the BlockBolt Payment Terminal, where they can pay using either ‘Connect Wallet’ or ‘Scan QR Code’. The entire payment happens outside the Magento environment using the customer’s own blockchain wallet. Since no card or sensitive payment data is used or saved, the extension meets SAQ A PCI compliance standards.

No customer information is entered into or stored on the Magento server.

How do I get a BlockBolt API key?
You can obtain your API key by registering an account on the BlockBolt Merchant Website and following the provided instructions.

Does this extension support refunds?
This extension currently does not support automatic refunds. Refunds must be processed manually.

What happens if a payment fails?
If a payment fails, the order status in your store remains as "Pending". You will need to address the issue by either retrying the payment or manually canceling the order.
