Overview
Back to topBillingo Integration, for Magento 2.4.x.
Features list
- What are the benefits of connecting Magento and Billingo?
- With Magento connection, you can create both traditional and electronic invoices.
- Invoicing is possible in Hungarian, English, and German.
- Magento's payment methods can be paired with Billingo's payment options.
- Invoices can be sent out immediately via email.
- You can create invoices, pro forma invoices, and drafts
Billing-Related Settings
Trigger (Event) - Here, you need to specify what should trigger the creation of an invoice by default. From the dropdown menu, you can choose:
- Status - The invoice is issued based on a certain status.
- Order - The invoice is created when an order is received.
If Status is selected, you can then specify at Trigger Status which status should generate the document (e.g., Processing).
Send email - By choosing Yes for this option, the system will automatically send the invoice to the customer via email.
Electronic Invoice - Setting this to Yes allows you to issue your invoices in electronic form.
Invoice Type - You can decide whether to create a draft (Draft), a proforma invoice (Proforma), or an invoice (Invoice) in Billingo.
Invoice language - You can specify the language of your invoices: Hungarian (hu), English (en), or German (de).
Note - You have the option to add a note that will appear on every invoice (e.g., Thank you for your order!).
Unit - You can enter the unit of measure for the products displayed on the invoice (e.g., pcs).
Add SKU - You can decide whether or not to include SKU numbers with your products. Choose Yes if you want them included, No if not.
TAX Override
- Here, you can select the value with which you wish to override the VAT value on your invoices. For example: AM, AAM, ÁTKH, EU, FAD, etc.
Entitlement for TAX override - With this option, you can select the legal basis related to certain VAT rates. From April 1, 2021, towards the NAV, it's required to specify the legal basis for certain tax rates in some cases. For keys where there is only one legal basis option, we won't show the selection list as we automatically match it to the tax rate. The legal basis does not appear on the issued invoice, but it will be displayed towards NAV Online Invoice system according to current legislation during submission. If you do not choose a legal basis for a VAT rate, in case of multiple options, a default value determined by us will be submitted to the NAV Online Invoice system.
It's important to choose the correct legal basis related to the tax rate during setup, as choosing the wrong legal basis can cause errors during invoice issuance.
More information on selecting the legal basis can be found in our blog post: https://www.billingo.hu/blog/olvas/hamarosan-atall-a-billingo-a-nav-30-verziora-fontos-informaciok
TAX override, if 0% - This function allows you to replace the 0% VAT value on the invoice with the value set here for products set to 0% VAT. In this case, the tax rate for only 0% products will be replaced with this value. For other tax rates, the value specified in the global override will be displayed.
Entitlement for 0% TAX override - With this option, you can set the legal basis related to the value for cases where the tax rate has been overridden to 0%.
Tax override EU/EUK - If the customer's country is within the EU, then "EU" is used as the VAT key, if outside, then "EUK". Enable this option for overriding the supplier!
Tax override for shipping - This option allows you to decide if the VAT should also be replaced for shipping charges. For instance, if you want the product VAT to be overridden to 'AM' but keep the shipping at 27%, then do NOT check this box.
Payment settings
For payment methods, you need to pair the previously enabled payment methods in Magento with their equivalents in Billingo. On the left side, the payment method defined in Magento is listed, and you can set what name should be given to that item on the issued invoice.
For example, if you chose Bank Transfer Payment in Magento, you should specify Prepayment in Billingo. This is necessary for the two systems to communicate accurately and to identify the equivalents of different payment methods in Magento and Billingo.
For payment methods, you can specify a payment deadline by manually filling in the Payment Deadline..
