WhataTalk is a WhatsApp Business API platform and official Meta Technology Partner that gives businesses a shared team inbox, message templates, and automated campaign tools built directly on top of WhatsApp. It is used by online retailers to communicate with customers over WhatsApp instead of relying solely on email or SMS. 

This extension connects your store directly to WhatsApp Business API through WhataTalk, so customers receive order updates over WhatsApp the moment something changes without any manual work from your team. When a customer places an order, it gets invoiced, ships, is cancelled, or is refunded, a WhatsApp message is sent automatically using a template that was approved by Meta in advance. The extension also detects abandoned carts and sends a single reminder message to bring the shopper back, and lets your marketing team schedule bulk WhatsApp campaigns to customer groups directly from the admin panel. Once connected, store owners can manage every message template, monitor campaign delivery, and adjust notification rules entirely from within Magento.

Account and Pricing

To use this extension, you need to sign up for a WhataTalk account here:  Onboarding Business | WhataTalk . A WhataTalk subscription is required to send messages through this extension, and is separate from the extension's purchase price. WhataTalk offers a 30-day free trial with no credit card required; after the trial, pricing is available at  Start Free Trial | WhatATalk . The account is not created during extension installation it must be created on the WhataTalk website first, and the API credentials are then entered into the extension's configuration screen.

How It Works

After connecting your WhataTalk account, the extension listens for order and cart events inside eCommerce store and sends the corresponding WhatsApp message using your approved templates. All templates are auto synced between WhataTalk and your eCommerce store automatically, so no manual template entry is needed. Campaigns and customer sync run on a background schedule that store owners can configure to match their store's traffic.
