- An accessibility statement link — your own URL and link text, opening in a new window or within the widget

An honest word about compliance
This is an assistive preference toolbar. It gives visitors control over presentation, which genuinely helps people with low vision, dyslexia, migraine sensitivity and reading difficulties.
It is not a compliance product, and no widget from any vendor is. WCAG and ADA conformance depends on your own markup — image alt text, form labels, heading structure, keyboard operability, focus order — none of which a toolbar can fix from the outside. Treat this as a genuine improvement for real users alongside accessible development, not as a substitute for it.
Frequently asked questions
Does this make my store WCAG or ADA compliant? No. Compliance depends on your site's own markup and structure. A preference toolbar helps users adjust presentation; it cannot add alt text or label your forms. Be sceptical of any widget claiming otherwise — the FTC fined a major overlay vendor $1M in 2025 over exactly that claim.
Who does it actually help? Shoppers who need larger text or stronger contrast, readers who find a dyslexia-friendly font easier, anyone who prefers reduced motion, and people who would rather listen than read.
Does it work on mobile? Yes, the widget is responsive.
