Cover EU Cookie Law Requirements

The GDPR extension includes an advanced tool to comply with Cookie Law requirements. Using the features, you can:

• collect users' cookie consents  in a popup, in which shoppers can allow or disallow particular cookie groups by clicking toggles;
• add a separate cookie CMS page, where customers can easily find out for what purposes their cookies are used;
• view and manage all given cookie consents in a separate grid.

Collect Privacy Consents With Checkboxes

Extended Customer Account

EU's GDPR requires e-commerce websites to provide customers with a set of tools to control their personal data. With the extension, you can add an extra section to the customers' accounts that allows users to:

• Download all personal information provided to your store;
• Anonymize the account information to make it completely unreadable;
• Leave a request to delete the account;
• View all documentation in one place;
• Opt-in previously given consents; 
• Contact a Data Protection Officer (DPO).

From the backend, the admin users can deal with the incoming requests to delete users' accounts. One can approve or deny a request and send the notification email.

Privacy Policy Docs Management

The GDPR extension for Magento 2 allows you to create and manage the privacy policy documentation. On top of that, the module enables store admins to set the policy version and enable or disable each of them. All registered customers are divided into two grids: with and without consent with any of the existing privacy policies. From both grids, the admin user can send email requests to agree to the policy or to give consent to the updated one. There's also a separate grid for cookie consents, where store admin can even check which cookie groups a customer has allowed to process.  

Automatically Remove Personal Data

According to the law, a merchant has no right to keep the data of inactive users. With the extension, you may configure auto-deletion after a particular period.  All automatically deleted accounts will be moved to the 'Delete Requests' grid.
