How Does The Extension Work?
Integrate your store with Google Analytics 4
This module provides a seamless integration solution for your ecommerce store and Google Analytics 4, sparing you the effort of manual installation. This extension provides swift and easy setup – just activate it from the backend and input the GTM JS & non-JS codes. This process automatically adds the Google Tag Manager code across all pages within your Magento 2 store, facilitating comprehensive tracking of user information throughout the entire site.
Automatically generate JSON file
Effortlessly generate a JSON file with a single click using the Magento 2 GTM extension. This file includes all the necessary tags, triggers, and variables for automated ecommerce tracking events in Google Analytics 4. The JSON file is created based on your settings in Magento and can be imported into Google Tag Manager for flawless integration with your website.
Use server-side tracking
Take charge of the data that moves from your browser to your Google products (GTM). By using server-side tagging through setting up a server container and rules, you can effectively manage cookies on the server before sending data to GTM. This ensures you follow GDPR rules, enhancing data privacy and security.
Get full picture of customer journey
With our Magento Google Analytics plugin, you attain a thorough understanding of each step in your customers' journeys through the tracking of a range of events. Starting from the first visit to your website all the way to the ultimate purchase, you'll grasp how customers engage with your store. This includes identifying the products or pages that attract their interest the most and pinpointing the actions that result in successful conversions.
Monitor product impressions & clicks
The extension enables you to capture key product events, (such as view_item, select_item, view_item_list, search) on category and product pages of your online store. By using this data, you'll gain valuable insights into customer actions and preferences, aiding you in making smart choices about enhancing your product pages for improved conversion rates.
Keep an eye on customer account events
The Magento Google Analytics 4 extension gives you a peek into how customers engage with their accounts. It lets you monitor and analyze important account events like registrations, logins, and profile updates. By tracking these actions, you'll gain a deeper understanding of your audience, enhance their experience, and foster stronger customer loyalty.
Track shopping cart & checkout events
Monitor every interaction along your customers' path. Observe their shopping cart actions, including adding or removing items, viewing their cart, and moving to checkout. Stay informed about essential checkout events like begin_checkout, add_payment_info, add_shipping_info, and purchase. This way, you'll gain an in-depth understanding of the entire buying process.
Analyze promotions performance
Examine promotion events to better understand how customers interact with your store's promotions. Identify the most impactful ones and use this knowledge to refine your marketing strategies. Craft focused and appealing campaigns that resonate with your audience's likes and choices, ultimately enhancing your marketing endeavors.
Track performance by brands
Monitor customer interactions on your website with events tied to brands. Delve into data connected to brand-specific attributes like product name, price, color, size, and more. Uncover which brands resonate the most with your customers and identify top-performing products from those brands.
Compliance with Cookie policy
The extension is compatible with Amasty Cookie Consent extension, ensuring compatibility with Google Consent Mode V2, essential for accurate data tracking in advertising and remarketing. This means that even if users decline cookies, it is still possible to send data to GA4, using conversion and behavior modeling.
