Back to topOverview
Back to topFruition Product Labels helps Adobe Commerce teams highlight promotions, newness, clearance, and campaigns where shoppers actually look: on product pages and category listings. Merchants work in a Configurations Manager embedded in the Commerce Admin, while the storefront (or middleware) consumes a predictable JSON API that returns, for each SKU, everything needed to render a badge: position, text, styles, image data (including server-generated SVG for shapes), tooltip, redirect URL, and accessibility fields such as alt text.
Label types and design
Text-only labels for lightweight messaging
Predefined shapes with customizable colors (delivered as SVG for crisp rendering)
Uploaded images for full brand control
Independent settings for product vs category context, including a nine-position placement grid, label size, text size, and colors
Targeting and relevance
Assign labels to specific SKUs
Optional catalog conditions in the Admin can resolve matching products to SKUs when a configuration is saved or updated (including intersection with stock status when configured)
Limit visibility by store view and customer group; the API returns resolved identifiers so your storefront can honor context correctly
Schedule labels with start and end dates and an active status
Support for configurable / grouped merchandising with use for parent where appropriate
Operations and composable commerce
Configurations are stored in Adobe App Builder Files, separate from theme code
Runtime logic runs on Adobe I/O Runtime as part of your App Builder project
A single POST endpoint accepts a list of SKUs and a mode (PRODUCT or CATEGORY) and returns ordered label payloads per SKU—straightforward to wire into API Mesh, server-side rendering, or client-side fetching
Who it’s for
Merchandising and ecommerce managers who need fast campaign turnaround, Adobe Commerce administrators who want Admin-native tools, and developers building headless or custom storefronts who prefer one integration contract instead of scattered theme edits.
