Abandoned Cart Reminder

A module which sends reminder email to customer upon cart abandonment after certain time has passed. User can configure cart abandonment duration in the module configuration as well as view the logs for reminder emails sent in the provided grid in REPORTS menu.

By default, module only sends reminder email to those emails that has given opt-in consent in newsletter entity. This option is configurable in the module configuration, to bypass consented option and send email to all emails irrelevant to consent.

Email template is editable, it can be edited in admin backOffice menu item MARKETING -> Email Templates -> Add New Template -> Load Default Template -> 'AQ Abandoned Carts: Reminder Email'. Newly created template can be used for sending Abandoned Cart reminders by mapping it in module's configuration.

• Adds a menu item Abandoned Cart Reminder: Email Logs under REPORTS menu in admin backOffice.
• Abandoned Cart Reminder: Email Logs menu item opens a grid page showing list of abandoned cart email sent.
• Grid provides filter options, to be able to filter results by given values in filterable columns and sorting options, to be able to sort grid by columns.
• A configuration section is added to manage modules configurations.
• Modules default email template is editable, it can be edited in admin backOffice menu item MARKETING > Email Templates > Add New Template > Load Default Template > Abandoned Cart Reminder.
• Edited template can be used for sending Abandoned Cart reminders by mapping it in modules configuration.
• Module adds a cron task to run every 5 minutes, which scans for active carts longer then set duration for cart abandonment. 
• If a cart is found to be abandoned then module will send a reminder email to customer.
• Upon sending cart abandonment reminder email, the module also adds a log entry to Abandoned Cart Reminder: Email Logs grid.
