Overview

Google Tag Manager (GTM) is an essential tool for tracking customer interactions and managing analytics. The Acid Unit Google Tag Manager Extension seamlessly integrates GTM with Magento Open Source & Adobe Commerce, providing a powerful, flexible, and user-friendly solution for tracking key eCommerce events such as product clicks, cart additions, checkouts, and purchases.

This extension is designed with ease of use in mind, featuring an intuitive admin panel where store owners can enable or disable specific tracking events, customize event names, and fine-tune how data is pushed to the GTM data layer.

By utilizing this extension, merchants gain deep insights into user behavior, allowing them to optimize marketing strategies, conversion funnels, and ad targeting. The module works out of the box with minimal setup, supports multi-store environments, and follows best practices in performance and scalability.

Pre-requirements

To use this extension, you need an active Google Tag Manager account.
For more information about GTM, visit Google's official documentation.
