Overview

The Assign Order to User extension helps administrators and authorised users assign individual orders to a Sub-Admin (i.e. a named team member) in a department to work on that order, as part of the order fulfilment process.

If you find yourself routinely asking a specific member of your warehouse team to fulfil an order, a person in the finance department to action a full or partial refund or a customer service rep to get in touch with a customer before an order can be fulfilled, this easy-to-use extension is just what you are looking for.

By default, Magento 2 doesn’t enable you to assign orders easily to a member of your team to work on. The Assign Order to User extension helps to solve this issue. Now you can easily assign an order from Magento’s backend to a sub-admin user (i.e. a named individual within your organisation) to work on a specific order. When that assigned user logs into Magento using their own credentials and visits the Order Management interface, they will see a list of the orders that have been assigned to them.

Features

  • Ability to manually assign an order to a user to work on the order
  • Set permissions and restrictions for each user to give them access only to the orders assigned to them
  • Only one user can be assigned to an order, but you can change the assigned user at any time
  • Enable or disable the module as required
  • Assigned user data is stored on the order record and is included in order exports
  • Assigned To can be used as criteria for Saved Filters and Views
